Why I went to an Internet Marketing Seminar
Chances are, you are looking a practical way to make money online.
In early August I went to the Practical Profits seminar in Las Vegas with that in mind.
I’ve been on the email list of James Jones and Jason Fladlien for sometimes. I trust them a lot because of the quality content and products I’ve seen them put out time and time again.They are among the speakers in this 2-day Internet Marketing seminar.
They were calling 100 people to join them in this 2-day “all content, no pitch” internet marketing fest in the land of the high desert, teaching people how they make money and how to copy what they do. It sounded pretty irresistible to me. Read the rest of this entry »
Practical Profits Seminar – Part 2
Day 1. The Rhodes Borthers, Rachel Rofe, and Tim Castleman
The day began. The conference was held in a 100+ people-conference room in a very nice hotel. And this was one of the smallest conference rooms there. People filed in and the room got full. Excitement began as we saw James Jones, Tim Castleman and others right in front of us.
Although I told myself not to expect much from this event, but still, I was half hoping to hear some secret internet marketing techniques that might just be the vehicle to royal success. I got my notebook out and pen ready. I put my Sansa Fuze on the table. This small mp3 player could record voice. Little computer chip inside can store hours of lecture and the battery lasts a long time. It’s perfect for this situation. I got it a couple of weeks before just for this seminar.
Brothers John and Matt Rhodes opened the set. They talked about Automatic Profit Machines with Blogs. Their calm and friendly manner impressed me right away. I didn’t go for hype much. A few years ago I remembered seeing a sales copy on the internet that claimed: How to make $10,000 a week with just 20 minutes of work! It showed a picture of a very handsome man and a moving account of how he worked so hard and got nowhere until he stumbled upon this internet marketing technique. Now he’s rolling in dough and he’s willing to share this anyone-can-do-it secret with me for $47, or maybe it was $27. Read the rest of this entry »
Practical Profits Seminar – Part 3
Day 2, Practical Profits Intensified
The night before the 2nd day seminar several attendees talked together in the lounge of the hotel till almost daylight. Too bad I missed it. Next time I would surely watch out for networking opportunity like that.
The speakers on the 2nd day were Will Mattos, James Jones, and Jason Fladlien. I’ve bought products from James and Jason before and they were fabulously useful. Wil had a product that I’d been considering. It’s called Easy Script Redirect. It’s a software that managed and protected affiliate links. James was impressed with that product because he had lots of affiliate links.
Wil’s topic was “Making Money with Webinars“. This was amazing because he’s doing it as he Spoke. The Practical Profits seminar was being broadcasted around the world on the web via live streaming in real time. We attending the seminar of course paid for the admission. But there’s also a vast audience out there watching the live streaming. They paid for the viewing also. Then there’s the future DVDs. Wil was the tech wiz of the group, the Steve Wozniak of the Apple Computer company in its early days. He also excelled in doing business. Read the rest of this entry »
